Man Arrested and Charged Robbery from Petrol Station in Baldoyle

Two men entered the petrol station, one armed with what is believed to be a screw driver and demanded cash from staff. Having left with a sum of monies, the two men then attempted to take a car but failed to do so. Gardaí were alerted and after a search of the area one man was arrested and a sum of cash was recovered.

He was detained at Howth Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended and has since been charged to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice Court 1 at 10:30am today, 1st November 2017.   Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Howth Garda Station on 01-666-4900, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
